ID: Q66358

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS, version 4.0

SUMMARY

If you choose IBM CGA Black and White 640 by 200 when you are using Paintbrush 4.0, after you load the program, the CGA color-monitor screen is not black and white; it's magenta, black, and white.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, rerun PBSETUP and choose IBM EGA Black and White 640 by 200. This produces a black and white screen even on a color monitor.
