Paintbrush Options for Pasting Cutouts: Transparent or Opaque

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS, version 4.0

In Microsoft Paintbrush, version 4.0, if you hold down the right mouse button as you drag the cutout, the background color of the cutout is transparent and objects show through the cutout.

If you hold down the left mouse button as you drag the cutout, the background color of the cutout is opaque and covers objects under the cutout.
