Paintbrush 4.0 Err Msg: "There Is No Image..."

SUMMARY

If you select the Cancel button from the "Create a New Picture" menu and then you press either mouse button while the cursor is in the drawing area of the screen, the following error message may be displayed:

There is no image - File New or File Open may have failed
If you choose OK instead of Cancel, a drawing canvas is displayed.


MORE INFORMATION

After you invoke PAINT.EXE from the MS-DOS command prompt, Paintbrush displays the "Load a Picture from Disk" window. If you want to create a new image, choose Cancel. The "Create a New Picture" menu is then displayed. This screen allows you to modify the size of your drawing canvas by changing the height and width attributes.

After you have determined the height and width of your canvas, choose OK, and then begin your drawing.
