SYMPTOMSWhen Line or Shape controls are placed on a UserControl whose Backstyle property is set to Transparent, the controls do not appear. This problem occurs only on machines running Windows 95 or Windows 98. RESOLUTIONSetting the BorderWidth property to a value greater than the default setting of 1 allows the Line control to be drawn properly. This workaround applies only to the Line control. There is no workaround for the Shape Control at this time. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
