ActiveX Control Pack 1.0

Some of the most popular ActiveX controls are now available for Windows CE across a variety of processors. Sample code in the package provides great examples of how to use each control.

Grid

Grids presents a spreadsheet style interface that is ideal for displaying columns of text and numeric data.

Tabstrip

Tabstrips help to organize the user interface into logical groups using folder style tabs. On constrained display surfaces, Tabstrips make the most of available space.

TreeView

Tree views are typically used in Windows applications to represent hierarchical information, such as folders or directories. The TreeView control exposes programmatic interfaces to display and manage tree views.

Listview

The Listview control allows applications to offer up to four different views of application data: large icons, small icons, list, and report.

Imagelist

The image list control is an image management primitive used by many of the other controls.

Common Dialog

Standard dialog boxes save development time and give users a familiar user interface across applications. Dialog boxes for opening and saving files, or selecting colors and fonts are exposed through a simple programmatic interface. Applications also use the CommonDialog control to display context-sensitive help using the Windows Help Engine.
