SUMMARY
In low memory conditions (around 350K conventional MS-DOS memory), you
may notice that when certain menus are dropped down that the region of
the screen behind them is not refreshed. You see a large black area
where the menu should be found.
MORE INFORMATIONDue to the low memory conditions and inherent limits within the environment and in applications using menus, it was decided that this alternative of not immediately updating the screen was preferable to not being able to drop down the menus at all.
