Some Monochrome Monitors May Have Problems Displaying Menus

SYMPTOMS

Some systems with monochrome monitors may not display the programming environment and Form Designer correctly. However, applications created with Visual Basic for MS-DOS on these systems are displayed correctly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Standard and Professional Editions of Microsoft Visual Basic for MS-DOS, version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
