SYMPTOMSAfter executing the CHDRIVE statement in code to change the current drive to one that has no disk in it, attempting to save your program results in the following error message: You can't save the program to a valid drive. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, insert a disk into the drive that needs a disk, or in the Immediate window, use the CHDRIVE statement to change the current drive to a valid drive. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Standard and Professional Editions of Microsoft Visual Basic version 1.0 for MS-DOS.
