SYMPTOMSVisual InterDev may hang while waiting for certain large files to be copied to the server over SSL (secure socket layer). CAUSEAttempting to add large files (about 100K and up) over SSL can cause Visual InterDev to hang because the large files do not get placed on the server. Therefore, the add file operation never completes. RESOLUTIONAside from physically placing the large files on the server, or decreasing the size of the files added to the project, there are no known workarounds for this problem with Visual InterDev 1.0. STATUSThis problem has been addressed in Visual InterDev 6.0 when used in conjunction with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0. The Visual InterDev 6.0 package contains IIS 4.0. Information on IIS 4.0 can be obtained at: http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/Basics/WebServices/default.asp MORE INFORMATIONSteps to Reproduce Behavior
