FIX: GPF When Refreshing a Project Containing Sybase Connection

SYMPTOMS

A General Protection Fault occurs when refreshing a project that contains a connection to a Sybase database.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 1.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

Create a web project.

Insert a data connection to a Sybase database.

Select Refresh from the View menu.

Result: GPF
