PRB: Visual InterDev 6.0 Does Not Support Nested Subwebs

SYMPTOMS

In the FrontPage 2000 client you can create nested subwebs (subwebs of subwebs under the root Web). Visual InterDev 6.0 does not support this behavior. In Visual InterDev, nested subweb is not listed as a Web application when you create a Visual InterDev 6.0 project.

CAUSE

Visual InterDev 6.0 uses a version of the FrontPage 98 client libraries, which do not support creating or opening nested subwebs.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
