SYMPTOMSIf the configuration of the monitors changes when the Application Performance Explorer (APE) runs on a computer with a multiple display configuration, Application Performance Explorer no longer appears when you run it. CAUSEThe Application Performance Explorer does not support multiple displays. While it can be used in this configuration, the Application Performance Explorer does not detect the reconfiguration of the monitor setup and it starts up in its original location on the desktop, which is no longer visible in the new configuration. RESOLUTION
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONThis can also happen if you disable multiple display support.
