PRB: Launching the MSDN Library Generates a Run-Time Error

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to launch the MSDN Library from the Start menu or from a Visual Studio application, one of the following three error messages appear:

DEVENV.EXE, the instruction at 0x5d3284b6 referenced memory at 0x7b221429. The memory could not be read.
-or-
An Unknown Error Has Occurred.
-or-
hh.exe caused a divide error in hhctrl.ocx.


CAUSE

The Hh.exe or Hhctrl.ocx file, or one of the MSDN's related DLLs, may be corrupted.


RESOLUTION
