BUG: Visual Studio SP3 Readme.htm File Points to Wrong Location for Updates

SYMPTOMS

The Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 3 Readme refers to updates that were not included in the service pack. The Readme.htm file incorrectly states that customers can go to the Visual Studio Home Page to obtain these updates.


RESOLUTION

The site that will include the most up-to-date information is the Visual Studio Support Highlights page.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
