The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you dial in using Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking client software to a Windows NT Remote Access Service (RAS) Server with the correct user name and password, the following error message appears: When you choose OK, you are disconnected. CAUSE
This problem occurs if your password has expired or been reset with the
"User Must Change Password at Next Logon" option. In addition, Windows 95
Dial-Up Networking does not support the ChangePassword CHAP functionality
provided by Windows NT RAS/PPP servers.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do one of the following:
