SYMPTOMS

With Internet Explorer 3.0, if you load an HTML page that contains frames and then click a hyperlink to a Microsoft Word Document and the file loads inside one of the frames, if you then minimize IE to the Taskbar and try to click it to bring it back to a windowed view it will remain on the Taskbar.

RESOLUTION

When the item is on the Taskbar, right-click the item and select either Restore or Maximize. Internet Explorer will expand to a window view. You can also use Alt+Tab to bring Internet Explorer to the foreground.
