SYMPTOMS
If you print from a computer running Windows NT 3.5x to a NetWare Print
Gateway defined on a computer running Windows NT 3.5x Server and Microsoft
Gateway Service for NetWare (GSNW), you always receive a NetWare banner
page before the print job.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, install Client Services for NetWare (CSNW) on
the Windows NT Workstation so that you do not have to print through the
print gateway on the Windows NT server running GSNW. Using CSNW will allow
you to directly connect to the NetWare print queue. You can disable banners
by running Control Panel and choosing CSNW.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT versions 3.5 and
3.51.
