SYMPTOMSAfter copying or moving your Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 installation into a new tree (folder or drive), some system functions and programs behave unpredictably or do not work at all. CAUSEThe Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 registries contain some hard-coded paths (for example, "C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\" instead of "%SystemRoot%\SYSTEM32\"). In addition, some programs may uses hard-coded paths. RESOLUTION
Moving or copying your Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 installation to a different drive or
folder is not supported.
