NOTE: This method applies only when you run Winnt32.exe from Windows 2000. Winnt.exe (from either MS-DOS or Windows) cannot be used.

  1. Obtain the Winnt32.exe file from the latest Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack, and copy the file to a folder on your hard disk, or double-click the file on the Service Pack compact disc. The Winnt32.exe file is located in the Support\Winnt32 folder.
