Cannot Install ATOK 1.0 and Ichitaro 7.0/8.0 in Windows 2000

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install ATOK 1.0, Ichitaro 7.0, or Ichitaro 8.0, you may receive the following error message:

This application can not be installed under this version of Windows.

CAUSE

Setup problems for both ATOK 1.0 and Ichitaro 7.0 occur because the programs call GetVersionEx() and do not continue when they detect the operating system is not a recognized version.
