Sierra Print Artist Platinum 4.0 Does Not Save File to UNC Path

SYMPTOMS

If you type a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path and file name in the File Name box in Sierra Print Artist Platinum 4.0, the file seems to be saved correctly but is not actually saved. When this occurs, no error message is generated.

CAUSE

Sierra Print Artist Platinum 4.0 does not support saving files with UNC paths.

RESOLUTION

To save a file to a remote share, first map a network drive to the remote share. Then, select the mapped drive when you save the file.
