When you have a Windows 2000-based computer with two or more identical tape devices, you will not be able to select the specific drive to use with Backup. You will only be able to select the media type.

MORE INFORMATION

Removable Storage Management (RSM) in Windows 2000 allows applications to use the first available drive that supports the selected media type or to specify which drive to use. Backup only supports the first available choice.
