Floating Point Error in Print Artist Platinum 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When you are running Sierra Print Artist Platinum 4.0, you may receive an error message indicating that a floating point error has occurred. Print Artist then quits.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if no printer is installed in Windows 2000.

RESOLUTION

Install a printer in Windows 2000. To do so, click Start, point to Settings, click Printers, and then click Add Printer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
