Interstate 76 Version 1.0 Does Not Run on Windows 2000

SYMPTOMS

If you try to install or run Activision Interstate 76 version 1.0 after you upgrade to Windows 2000, the program does not run and you do not receive any error message. Event ID 54 is generated, with the following details:

RESOLUTION

Uninstall Interstate 76 and then reinstall it.


MORE INFORMATION

This behavior occurs only if Interstate 76 is installed prior to upgrading from Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98. If Interstate 76 is installed after upgrading to Windows 2000, no problems occur.
