"File Not Found" Attempting to Start Lightwave 3D 5.5

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to open a file with NewTek Lightwave 3D version 5.5, you may receive a "File not found" error message.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if there is a space in the file name or the path to the file. Lightwave 3D 5.5 cannot parse directory paths or file names with spaces included.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, remove all spaces from the file name, or move the file to a path with no spaces.
