An administrator can remove the Shut Down command from the Start menu by applying a policy on the server. STATUSThis behavior is by design. MORE INFORMATIONNote that users cannot shut down the server unless they have sufficient permissions to do so. If a user without sufficient permissions attempts to shut down the server, the user receives the message "You do not have permission to shut down this computer." Additional query words:
