SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to connect to a Remote Access Service (RAS) server from a Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) server using the TCP/IP protocol, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
RRAS includes a RAS component that will assign IP addresses for dial-in clients. To assign those addresses, DHCP or a static address pool can be used. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, in Control Panel, double-click Network and configure the RRAS properties to use a static pool of addresses, for example, address 192.168.1.224, mask 255.255.255.224.
