SYMPTOMSIf you copy text to the Clipboard in a Terminal Server client session, the text is not still available in the Clipboard after you disconnect from and reconnect to the Terminal Server. CAUSETerminal Server does not copy the actual data to the client computer's Clipboard, but copies a list of formats in which the data can be copied. When a program on the client computer requests the data, the client computer pulls the data from the server. If the client computer disconnects, the data is no longer available. STATUSThis behavior is by design. MORE INFORMATIONThe product behaves in this manner to minimize network traffic. Most items are copied to the Clipboard in several formats. If the server transfers all of the data for each format every time an item is copied, network performance could suffer. Additional query words:
