SYMPTOMSWhen an administrator or user sets local policy objects to affect local users or computers in the Group Policy snap-in, the settings may not take effect at the next computer startup or user logon. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if the local group policy has been disabled. This is enabled by default. RESOLUTIONVerify that local group policies are not disabled:
