SUMMARYGateway Services for NetWare (GSNW) is a component of Windows 2000 Server that enables the server to function as an NetWare Core Protocol (NCP) gateway for Service Member Block (SMB) clients. GSNW allows Microsoft clients to directly access NetWare file and print resources using the gateway, without the need for any additional software installed on the Microsoft clients. MORE INFORMATION
GSNW can be installed on a Windows 2000 server by adding the component as a client in the Local Area Connection tool. Installing GSNW also installs NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol. Additional query words:
