SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade a computer from Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98 to Windows 2000 Professional, shared printers on the computer may not be accessible. CAUSEWindows 2000 Professional does not keep some security settings. A shared printer remains shared, but the assigned users are deleted. RESOLUTIONReassign the users after the upgrade.
