No Recycle Bin Warning When Deleting Files

SYMPTOMS

You may not receive a warning when you drag a file to the Recycle Bin, even if the "Display delete confirmation dialog" option is enabled.


CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions exist and you manually drag an item to the Recycle Bin:

  • The "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted" option is not enabled.


  • The "Display delete confirmation dialog" option is enabled.


If you use any other method to delete a file, you do receive a warning prompt.
