SYMPTOMS

When you install Back Office Resource Kit version 4.5 on a Windows 2000-based computer, Setup reports needing 0 kilobytes (K) of disk space for the installation.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because of the method the Microsoft Software Installer (MSI) uses to display features. The main component (Back Office Resource Kit version 4.5) does not install files, but it's features do, so MSI reports the installation as needing 0 K of disk space, while it's features report the actual space requirements.
