SUMMARY

By default, Windows 2000 Professional does not require the CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combination to gain access to the login dialog box.

This feature of Windows 2000 Professional is designed to make it easier for users to get started with Windows 2000.

If you want to require users to press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to gain access to the login dialog box:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.


  2. Double-click User And Passwords.


  3. On the Advanced tab, click to select the Require user to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete before logging on check box, and then click OK.
