SYMPTOMS

After you perform a "clean" installation of Windows 2000, only the Utopia and Windows Default sound schemes are installed.

CAUSE

In order to save hard disk space during Setup and to save space on the Windows 2000 media, these are the only two sound schemes included with Windows 2000.

MORE INFORMATION

A "clean" installation of Windows 2000 means either installing Windows 2000 on a blank hard disk, or installing Windows 2000 in a folder other than the folder in which an existing version of Windows is installed.
