When you attempt to use a Windows 2000-based computer running Gateway Services for NetWare (GSNW) or Client Services for NetWare (CSNW) to browse a NetWare Directory Services (NDS) computer (server) alias object in an NDS tree, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSEThis problem can occur if the alias object has a different name than the target. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, install the Novell Client for Windows 2000. For information about how to obtain the Novell Client for Windows 2000, please contact Novell. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000. Additional query words:
