To verify the security and permissions settings of your Fax printer:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Printers.



2. Right-click your Fax printer, and then click Properties.



3. Click the Security tab. The default values should be:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Printers.



2. Right-click your Fax printer, and then click Properties.



3. Click the Security tab, and then click Advanced.



4. The Access Control Settings for Fax window appears. Click the Permissions tab. Click Add to add additional users or groups to the fax printer.



5. Click one of the users or groups in the Permission Enries list.



6. Click View/Edit, and the following permissions can be allowed or denied for each user or group. You can select to apply these to documents only, the printer only, or this printer and documents.
