SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade to Windows 2000 from Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, the time-out value in the Boot.ini file reverts to the default value of 30 seconds. CAUSEThe Windows 2000 upgrade process changes this value in the Boot.ini file. RESOLUTIONTo change the time-out value to the setting you want:
