Joystick May Not Work After Upgrading to Windows 2000

SYMPTOMS

A joystick that works properly before you upgrade to Windows 2000 may not work after the upgrade. Windows 2000 may not recognize that a joystick is installed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the previously installed drivers for the joystick are not Windows 2000 compliant because of differences between your previous operating system and Windows 2000.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain a Windows 2000-compliant driver from the joystick's manufacturer.
