SYMPTOMSAfter you install Windows 2000 on a laptop computer that is configured to use a docking station with a PS/2-style mouse, the mouse may not function properly. CAUSEThis issue can occur if the computer Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) is not configured to use multiple active pointing devices. RESOLUTIONTo use more than one pointing device on your computer, configure the computer BIOS to use multiple pointing devices.
