SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade from Windows NT Server version 4.0 to Windows 2000 Server, the Winlogon DontDisplayLastUserName value is overwritten from a value of 1 to 0. The following registry entry is not maintained: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon CAUSEWhen you upgrade to Windows 2000 Server with Terminal Server Services selected, the Terminal Server .inf file (Tsoc.inf) changes the value to 0. This value is not changed if Terminal Server Services are not selected during the upgrade. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
