Installation of SessionWall-3 May Cause Computer to Stop Responding

SYMPTOMS

After you install AbirNet SessionWall-3 on a computer running Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, or Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, your computer may stop responding (hang) when you start SessionWall-3 or the following error message may be displayed:

Fatal System Error: 0x000000be
(0xF71E0468,0x035F5021,0x00000060,0x0000000B)

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the SessionWall-3 program copies a string into a read-only area of memory.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact the vendor for a version of the SessionWall-3 program that is compatible with Windows 2000.
