"View" Command Is Not Available Unless the Root Node Is Selected

SYMPTOMS

When you are logged on as an administrator and you are running Certificate Manager, the View command is not available on the context menu unless you first click (with the left mouse button) to select Certificates - Current User (Root Node).


RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, first click Certificates - Current User so that it is selected. Then, right-click Certificates - Current User. The View command should be available.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
