SYMPTOMSAfter you reinstall a network protocol in Windows 2000, the protocol may not appear on the list of installed network protocols. CAUSEThis issue can occur if you remove a network protocol, reinstall the protocol without restarting your computer, and then try to reinstall the protocol again. When you do not restart your computer, the protocol does not appear on the list of installed network protocols, and this may prompt you to reinstall the protocol again.
