SYMPTOMSWhen you select a folder on the network that is located on a Windows-based computer, the Make Available Offline command appears on the File menu in Windows Explorer. However, when you select a folder on the network that is located on a NetWare server, the Make Available Offline command does not appear. Instead, the Map Network Drive command appears. CAUSEOffline files work only with SMB servers, not with NCP servers. RESOLUTIONThese files can be made available for offline access by sharing the files on a server running Gateway Services for NetWare (GSNW). STATUSThis behavior is by design. Additional query words:
