Windows 2000 Setup Does Not Prompt to Install Printer

SYMPTOMS

When you are installing Windows 2000, Setup does not prompt you to install a printer.

RESOLUTION

Install a printer after Windows 2000 is installed. To install a printer, click Start, point to Settings, click Printers, and then double-click Add Printer.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
