Intel i740 Prevents Using Standby Mode

SUMMARY

If you install Windows 2000 on a computer with an Intel i740 video adapter, the computer will not enter Standby mode.

If you try to use Standby or Hibernate mode on a computer containing an Intel i740 video adapter, you receive the following error message:

The system cannot go to Standby mode because the driver \Driver\i740 failed the request to standby.
The i740 video adapter does not support Standby or Suspend mode. Power management cannot be implemented reliably on this video adapter.
