No Mouse Functionality in DVD Movie Menu

SYMPTOMS

If the menu for a DVD movie is left on the screen for several minutes after the movie finishes, the mouse may no longer function in the menu. This is not the case when the movie is first started.

RESOLUTION

To choose items in the menu, use the keyboard. Or, restart DVD Player.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
