Imported Terminal Server Connections Are Put in the Wrong Menu

SYMPTOMS

When you import a Terminal Server client connection file using the following command, the connection may be placed in Terminal Server Client menu instead of the Terminal Services Client menu:

conman /import:file.cns


CAUSE

This issue can occur if you import a .cns file that was created using the Terminal Server Client Connection Manager tool in Microsoft Windows Terminal Server 4.0.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
