SYMPTOMS

The 3DfX Banshee driver does not use non-local video memory (Accelerated Graphics Port, or AGP, memory).

CAUSE

Support for the use of AGP memory is built into Windows 2000. However, the 3DfX Banshee hardware does not support texturing from AGP memory.
